Project LECT is a mobile career and mentorship symposia that expose students in under-served communities to stories of people who have been able to change their circumstances and also counsel them based on their area of interest and strength. They also get to learn how to be active global citizens and solve problems within their communities. They go through several activity based task to learn empathy, critical thinking creativity etc. These are the skills needed to solve global challenges and for the workforce. Children who are at risk in school also have access to one-on-one mentoring or coaching. Project LECT leverages partnership with volunteers, individuals, civil society organizations and private and public secondary schools.
